Well, it is Halloween season so Dark Hour is ready to return with more witchy terror, and the waitlist for tickets is live!. Tickets for this Halloween season go on sale August 19th, and due to the demand on Dark Hour tickets, you can now register to be notified when that happens to get on the list.
These will be the absolute best prices all season and will only be available for a very limited time and a limited number of tickets, so registering to be notified of the sale is critical if you want the best days, times and prices for the Halloween season this year.
The operation schedule of event dates and times has officially been released for this season, as seen below.
Scary Overload Insider Tip: Dark Hour always has a fantastic turnout, so buying tickets in advance to secure your time of entry is the only way to ensure you’ll get in on the night and time you want. Earlier in the season and Sundays or weekdays are your best choice to avoid the biggest of the crowds and get lower prices on tickets.
This year’s storyline…
This year, the Coven is experiencing quite a bit of chaos. Duchess Cadavera, the necromancer responsible for Annabelle Noire’s death, takes a seat at the circle to become the 13th witch. However, the Duchess and her undead aren’t taking the lead at bringing about the Dark Hour. That honor goes to Goblin Queen Maeve and her horde of goblins. She has taken advantage of the changes to send her goblins out of the warrens and into Dark Hour, reproducing and occupying every corner. They dominate Dark Hour and collect fear energy for their Queen. You’ll face both the Duchess, Queen Maeve, and all the other witches of the Coven if you dare enter the Dark Hour.

There are two new features at Dark Hour for 2026 besides the plans of the witches. One is the inclusion of Chicken Nights…your chance to bring your timid friends and family to walk through the haunt without any creatures chasing you or jumping out for scares. Enjoy taking your time looking at the sets and environs without any pressure on these special nights!

The other new feature is the North America Cryptid Museum, which is on the premises of Dark Hour. It has its own entrance and hours, but will be open any time Dark Hour is on top of their daily hours. This incredible museum is one of a kind: a detailed trip into the world of cryptids and creatures reported around North America. Everything from Mothman to Megalodon to multiple kinds of Bigfoot are on display, along with collected and reproduced evidence. Video displays, news clippings, and knowledgeable guides are available to give you all the information one could desire about these mysterious monsters. Photos are not only allowed, they’re welcomed, with multiple photo ops available.

In our opinion, Dark Hour always offers one of the finest haunt experience available, and this season will be no different.
