Hop Into Humor and Horror Today With Action Game ‘Frog Legs’ [Trailer]

More bite-sized horror gaming is available now, thanks to Solo developer and writer Elliott Dahle and their horror action game, Frog Legs. Available now on Steam (with a limited-time 15% launch discount), this 60-minute single-player game follows an ordinary suburban house frog trying to run, jump, and leap away from his past.

A mix of 3D and 2D action, Frog Legs cast you as (what else?) a frog named Carl. After a horrific accident during a routine game of hopping through lanes of traffic with your fellow amphibians, you decide to try living normal frog lives, and to never speak of that day again. However, the past has a way of coming back to haunt you. Left with no choice, Carl and his friends must confront the past and try to put a stop to the chaos.

Between the 2D arcade-style gameplay and some classic “boomer shooter” action, you’ll be trying to uncover why the past has come back to get you and your friends. Along with crossing perilous roads a la Frogger, solving puzzles and uncovering cryptic clues, you’ll also be blasting enemies with a Big Froggin’ Gun. As it sounds, Frog Legs doesn’t take itself too seriously, and has its fair share of humour mixed with (literal) jumpscares across its playtime.
