Evil Intentions Puts The Final Nail In The Coffin

Evil Intentions is an infamous haunted attraction on the outskirts of Chicago in Elgin, IL. They’ve got the usual stuff a great haunt has: excellent actors, solid special effects, an amazing story, killer costumes and makeup…but there’s something they have that no other haunt in the world has.

They’re in a former CASKET FACTORY.

That’s right, Evil Intentions is located inside the Elgin Casket Company building. From 1903 until 1980, it was used as just that: a casket making company. During that long history it was the site of fatal accidents and one cyanide spill (!!!) that, along with accusations of shoddy workmanship towards the end of the line, lead to its eventual closure.

Now, Evil Intentions operates inside the old and absolutely haunted as hell building.

But that’s about to come to an end.

Nothing lasts forever, and Evil Intentions is about to exit the Elgin Casket Company building at the end of this Halloween season. That’s right, this is your final chance to see this show, in this form, in this location. This is indeed the final nail in the coffin.

To celebrate, they’ve added all new sound for this season, enhancing things dramatically. On top of the improved audio, they’ve got new set pieces, new characters, tons of new things to check out for this finale at the beloved Casket Company location.

The existing story is engaging: the Elgin Ghost Society is spending the night conducting a paranormal investigation and something has gone very wrong. They’ve awaken something inside the old factory and are in over their heads. Something with…Evil Intentions.

Folks, they’ve got devils. Lordy, do they have them some devils. Just SO many devils. Devils, demons, witchery, succubae, and all sorts of forces and powers of darkness are afoot, friends and neighbors! There isn’t enough holy water in the entirety of the Chicago River to bless this mess!

Is the building itself actually haunted? Not only is it actually haunted, but Evil Intentions previously hosted ghost tours, and has EVP recordings on their website collected during previous investigations. Evidence? You got it, including the good old standby of a voice whispering, “Get out!” Enjoy your leisurely stroll through the dark factory.

Speaking of whispering, there have been reports of whispers in the ether around Evil Intentions of what’s to come. This is the end of the Casket Company…but it isn’t the end for Evil Intentions. Those whispers say to look for news after this season ends. We haven’t seen the last of the wickedness lurking inside the Elgin Casket Company.
