Retro-inspired pixel horror title Faith has a sequel on the way in Faith: Chapter II, and it’s got a new trailer ahead of a release next month.

The main influences for Airdorf’s satanic series are clear to see (a bit of The Exorcist, a lot of the ZX Spectrum/Atari era of gaming), and it’s looking suitably creepy even with such a simplistic visual style. If the trailer doesn’t give you a hint of what it’s about, the official plot summary will enlighten you further.

On September 21, 1986, two priests arrived at the Martin Family home in rural Connecticut to investigate an apparent case of demonic possession. Only two people would leave the house alive.
After confronting unspeakable dark entities and narrowly escaping with his life, a young priest descends into a new nightmare.

Just look at this fecker if you think retro visuals can’t be disturbing.

You can download the demo (which is a more of a taster as it features content not found in the finished game) on itch.io and GameJolt now, and Faith: Chapter II will be finished and released at some point in February.
