‘The Kaiju Score’: ‘Brightburn’ Writers Tackling Giant Monsters With Adaptation of Comic For Sony!
Rev up your engines in preparation for this October! NEON increased our anticipation for the Halloween season by setting a theatrical release date for Titane on October 1, 2021. The news comes just days after director Julia Ducournau‘s hotly-anticipated follow-up to Raw won the coveted Palme d’Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
Titane refers to “A metal highly resistant to heat and corrosion, with high tensile strength alloys, often used in medical prostheses due to its pronounced biocompatibility.”
Plot details remain scarce for now, but reviews out of Cannes referred to Ducournau’s latest as “controversial,” “shocking,” and “gory.”
“Raw was one of the most earth-shattering debut films in recent memory,” Neon said in a statement, “and we’ve been waiting for Julia’s next film ever since.”
Agathe Rousselle and Vincent Lindon star.
Titane is produced by Jean-Christophe Reymond, Jean Yves Rubin, Cssandre Warnauts, Oliver Père, Philippe Logie, Anne-Laure Declerck, and Christophe Hollebek.
