So, remember back in October when Resident Evil 2 remake voice actress Stephanie Panisello (who voiced Claire in the remake) had expressed interest in doing a Code: Veronica remake should Capcom decide to go through with it? Well, in a recent podcast produced by Residence of Evil, Steph hints at some interesting happenings.

The podcast, which featured the main casts of both of the recent Resident Evil remakes alongside each other, was a lighthearted affair, with the cast members discussing their experiences working on the games, their thoughts on video games, and so on. When commenting on how it’s been great to interact with the other performers from the Resident Evil 3 remake, Stephanie mentions having worked with one of them on an upcoming project.

Now, one could jump on this, saying that Capcom is working on a Code: Veronica remake, but given that we’re apparently getting Resident Evil 4 instead, that shoots this one down. However, this could also mean that Stephanie meant that she had worked with one of the RE3 voice actors on another project, entirely. Stephanie has done work with the Gears and Tomb Raider franchises, after all, so that might be what she was referring to.

Nevertheless, one can add another piece to the speculation puzzle as to what Capcom has planned for the future, Resident Evil-related or not.

Props to RelyOnHorror for finding this.
