[Video] German Trailer for ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ Includes a Fun Scene Not in the U.S. Trailer
Thanks to our friends over at the great website Ghostbusters News for the heads up that a German trailer for Jason Reitman‘s Ghostbusters: Afterlife – or Ghostbusters: Legacy, as it’s being called over in Germany – was uploaded to YouTube this week, and it’s capped off with a sneak peek at a brand new scene that wasn’t featured in the U.S. trailer we already shared.
The scene gives us a glimpse of Mckenna Grace‘s Phoebe (the granddaughter of Egon Spengler) playing with a proton pack, joined by a friend who’s played by Logan Kim. Kim’s character snaps a photo of Phoebe as she blasts a massive proton stream in an open field, capturing the colorful sight on a set of Ecto Goggles with a Polaroid camera built into them.
The German trailer is mostly the same aside from this additional moment. Check it out below.
In the film, written by Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan:
When a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.
Ghostbusters will return to theaters on July 10, 2020.
