Many years before The Host and this year’s Parasite, Bong Joon-ho co-wrote and directed 2003’s crime-drama Memories of Murder, a critically acclaimed film based on Korea’s first serial murders. The award-winning film is now set for big screen and home video re-release courtesy of NEON, Variety reports, in the wake of Parasite‘s box office success.

The site notes, “NEON recently bought the rights to Memories of Murder, one of Bong’s early works, and plans to re-release it in theaters and on Blu-ray.
