“The Haunting of Hill House” Star Oliver Jackson-Cohen Will Be Leigh Whannell’s ‘Invisible Man’!
Leigh Whannell and Blumhouse are putting a fresh new spin on the classic Universal monster movie The Invisible Man, with Elisabeth Moss, Storm Reid, Aldis Hodge and Harriet Dyer signed on to star. But who’s playing the title character, you ask? Deadline reports that Oliver Jackson-Cohen (“The Haunting of Hill House”) has landed the role!
The actor was a highlight in Netflix’s “Hill House,” playing the character Luke Crain.
Whannell’s The Invisible Man follows Cecilia (Moss), who receives the news of her abusive ex-boyfriend’s suicide. She begins to re-build her life for the better. However, her sense of reality is put into question when she begins to suspect her deceased lover is not actually dead.
The lower-budget film from Blumhouse and Universal is said to be character driven and scary.
The Invisible Man returns on March 13, 2020.
