The Hollywood Reporter‘s Borys Kit just tweeted out two new dates from Sony Pictures, both of which are untitled Marvel movies.
The first date is July 10, 2020, while the second lands on October 2, 2020. As he notes, the latter would be the perfect landing spot for the guaranteed Venom sequel that all but will introduce Woody Harrelson‘s Carnage. While we’re unsure if Ruben Fleischer will return to direct, Tom Hardy will reprise the role of Eddie Brock barring some shocking change in plans.
Kit also suggest that the former date could be the landing spot for one of two planned Sony Marvel adaptations, more than likely Morbius, the living vampire who will be played by Jared Leto. There is also the possibility that Sony could be slating Kraven the Hunter for that slot, although the former is more likely since it begins filming next February in London.
Watch for official announcements as they’re made.
