Horror streaming titan Shudder is taking over New York Comic Con later this month, with a star-studded panel and special screening of Shawn Linden’s 2020 horror thriller Hunter Hunter on October 17, with star Devon Sawa in attendance for an exclusive Q&A at the IFC Center.
Sawa will also take part in Shudder’s official Scare The Sh** Out Of You panel on October 18, featuring horror creatives Flying Lotus, Tina Romero, David Dastmalchian, Natasha Kermani and Kate Siegel. Shudder’s Sam Zimmerman will moderate the panel.
The panel is described as “a discussion of the current state of horror, what scares you, what we want to see and where the horror world is going. Featuring a look back at the year in Shudder films.”
Released at the height of the pandemic, Hunter Hunter was one of many movies impacted by lockdowns and restrictions, hence why Shudder are giving it a new lease of life and letting fans who may have missed the short theatrical release see it in big screen glory.
