In prep for Dark Souls Remastered being released next month, Bandai Namco have released a new gameplay trailer, as well as opened digital pre-orders for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. As Nintendo Switch owners sadly found out last week, their version of the game has been delayed to summer, along with that cool Solaire of Astora Amiibo (don’t lie, you want one).
In addition, there’s good news for those who previously purchased Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition on Steam, as they will receive a 50% “loyalty discount” towards their purchase of Dark Souls Remastered for PC. As a result, however, on May 8 at 4:00pm PST, the Steam version of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will be delisted. It will subsequently be replaced with Dark Souls Remastered when it launches on May 25. Those who own Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will still be able to play and re-download the title from their Steam library after it is delisted, however.
Dark Souls Remastered is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on May 25th.
