Retrovibe and developer Buckshot Software’s adrenaline pumping retro FPS Project Warlock II will finally be getting its second chapter next week. Announced on Project Warlock II‘s Kickstarter page, Chapter 2 will release on November 21 on PC via Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store.
“During the last few weeks, we’ve released Chapter 2 demo and organized two sessions of community playtests,” reads the post. “Your detailed feedback and commitment when testing various aspects of the game helped us implement many changes to the core elements of the new chapter.”
Following Palmer’s story in the first chapter, Chapter 2 delves into the tale of Urd. Banished by the master at a young age and left to die in a demonic dimension, Urd seeks revenge and will utilize every single tool at her disposal to get the job done. Take advantage of new sets of weapons and skills, infuse powerful crystal’s energy to Urd’s arsenal and clear your path through various new locations set in the Brutalist West.
Among Chapter 2’s additional 12 new levels, the update introduces a new progression system known as “Wargression”. Wargression lets players personalize their combat style with more than 90 upgrades, tweaking not only your weapons, but also bolstering Urd’s defense, magic, and combo meter. That’s on top of the four new weapons, and a spellbook with fire, frost, poison, crystal, and arcane spells.
Can’t wait for Chapter 2’s release? You can check out the demo for Chapter 2, which is available now via the Project Warlock II Steam page.
