Blizzard Entertainment is still trying to get fans on board with their upcoming mobile game, Diablo: Immortal. That doesn’t mean that the company hasn’t been at work on Diablo 4. Rumours state that the devs even cancelled another StarCraft shooter in order to focus on its development. And now you can add another rumour to the pile.

According to French newspaper Le Monde, in which the article talks about the recent job cuts made by Blizzard (not to mention the issues with crunch), Blizzard has shown Diablo 4 to employees in Paris.

“Teams at Blizzard Entertainment have already been presented with the long-awaited Diablo 4 and know that a new Overwatch game is in development,” states the translated article, which goes on to state that “neither of these two games will be released before 2020, at the very best, and employees at Versailles have no idea if they will still be around when they eventually release.”

Diablo 4 has been in development for quite some time, and according to rumours, has gone through several versions.

Again, take this with your usual pile of salt, but it appears that this year’s BlizzCon will potentially have Diablo as the focus.
