Warning: this article contains Leprechaun Returns spoilers.

As every single “big stars who got their start in horror!” list on the internet loves to point out, Jennifer Aniston‘s first major film role was in 1993’s Leprechaun, wherein she played main character Tory Reding. This year’s Leprechaun Returns is a direct sequel to that original film, centered on the daughter of Tory Reding, Taylor Spreitler’s Lila Reding.

In the film, it’s explained that Lila’s mom was basically insane after her encounter with the Leprechaun and then eventually died of an illness, and it probably goes without saying that Aniston does not reprise the role at any point in the film. Towards the end, however, Tory Reding’s voice is heard by her daughter, and man does it sound exactly like Jennifer Aniston.

Did Aniston provide her voice for the film? No, of course not. The voice of Tory Reding was actually Heather McDonald, known for doing a dead-on Jennifer Aniston impression!

You can check out the comedian’s perfect Aniston impression below, and we thank commenter K. Lee Adams for bringing this video to our attention earlier in the week!
