Filipe Duarte, a Portuguese actor known across film and television in his native country, who also provided voice work as Deacon St. John in the Portuguese version of Days Gone, has unfortunately passed away. Duarte died Friday due to a heart attack at the age of 46.
Eric Jensen, Bend Studio’s Lead Open World Designer for Days Gone, took to Twitter to pay tribute to Duarte. Sony’s Portuguese PlayStation Twitter also paid tribute.
Incredibly sad to hear of the passing of Portuguese actor Filipe Duarte. He was the voice of Deacon for us and so many #DaysGone players in Portugal. Sending love to his family during this hard time. ❤️🙏 pic.twitter.com/oMLr6a8BAs
