The Tulsa King of Haunted Houses is Hex House™!

Here’s what is really going on in Tulsa, OK. It’s very disturbing and has been happening for many years now. It comes back every year around this time.
We’re talking about a new entry in 2025 to Scary Overload’s Scariest Haunted Houses, Hex House™! Hex House™ has long been known as the scariest haunted house in Oklahoma, not just in Tulsa. Lately, it has gained national acclaim as one of the best in the U.S.A. HauntWorld rate Hex House™ as one of the top 15 haunted houses in the world! Even Fox News ranked them in America’s top 10 haunted houses. We’ve experienced Hex House™, and here’s why we think the rest of the country is taking notice.

To start with, it’s not just a one-haunt event. Hex House™ includes three adrenaline-filled haunted attraction experiences at one location. The Experiment is brand new for 2025, where you will step back in time into a Cold War-era human experimentation lab. You’ll have to make it through without becoming one of the infirmed. Haunted Overdrive is an attraction that’s an overload of scary like you’ve never seen before – a combination of fantasy and horror. Finally, the namesake Hex House™ is a premier haunted attraction filled with everything nightmares are made of, based on Tulsa’s dark past.
Also, there is a story behind the name Hex House™. You can read more on their website, but I’ll give you the short version. Hex House™ is a true Tulsa legend. Back in 1944, an investigation by police revealed a small casket buried in the backyard of a Tulsa home, as well as finding 2 young women in the basement of that home who had been under a hypnotic or occult control for 7 years! The probe was nicknamed the “Hex House” case because police and reporters thought it had all the spooky elements of a Halloween story…bondage, spell-casting, occult control, and hypnotism. It also led to the arrest of Carolann Smith, who had held these 2 women in her basement and convinced them to live there and turn over their earnings so they could find an “ultimate payoff” in heaven. She also starved and beat them to bring purification in her own twisted version of religion. The body buried in the casket was just BonBon, Carolann’s dog, but the legend was born.

In the spirit of this Tulsa legend, Hex House™ haunted attraction brings real fear, real spooky moments, and a whole lot of fun to people visiting from far and wide. Hex House™ also has a party in the parking lot, with a live DJ and a celebratory atmosphere leading to a full night of fun.
Hex House™ is located at 5610 West Skelly Drive in Tulsa. That is just off I-44 on the southwest side of town. One ticket gets you in to all 3 attractions so reserve your experience today online. People in Tulsa are lucky to have this incredible actor-driven haunted house event in town. It’s one of the better haunted houses anywhere, so don’t miss out.
