DeepFakes are always improving in their realism (and creepiness). But we’ve never really had many that involve video games. The fact that studios are now able to accurately scan in data to create near-accurate CGI replicas of people is equally scary.

So what am I getting at with all of this? One YouTuber by the name of BabyZone has created DeepFakes in Mortal Kombat 11 of people like Bruce Campbell, Keanu Reeves, The Rock and more using the same software one would use to create a DeepFake. The results are as creepy as they are impressive.

Of course, BabyZone had to do two videos, just to provide us with nightmare fuel (and to give us a reminder of what might have been).

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
