With the recent PC release on January 9th for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, Capcom has updated their roadmap for the expansion. The update coincides with the news that updates across console and PC will sync starting with the release of the version 13.5 update in April.

According to the press release, the PC version will begin its updates on February 6 with Rajang, which was released for consoles back in October). Along with Rajang, PC players will also receive a new Volcanic Region, which will be added to the end-game Guiding Lands, and becomes accessible once players have started the special assignment quest to battle Rajang. Leon and Claire from Resident Evil 2 will also pay a visit on February 6th (as they did back in October for consoles).

As for console owners, they will be receiving time-limited events celebrating the two-year anniversary of Monster Hunter: World (at the same time as PC owners), as well as new limited time event quests with increased odds of encountering gold crown monsters, decorations, and Great Spiritvein Gems. This all comes to a head in April, when both consoles and PC will sync with new Arch-Tempered and Master Rank versions of existing monsters, as well as the return of a “fan-favorite monster” in May.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne launched for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One back on September 6, 2019, while the PC version is available on Steam.
