Amidst the leaks before E3, and still not knowing when the game will be released, you can’t help but be psyched for Bandai Namco and From Software’s upcoming collaboration with George R.R. Martin in Elden Ring. The game is still very much in development, but for those select few attending this year’s Gamescom, you might just be able to get a glimpse of the game.
According to Russian site Igromania, Bandai Namco is planning to bring Elden Ring to Gamescom. The catch is, that the game will reportedly be shown behind closed doors, so only the press would be granted access.
That being said, none of this has been confirmed yet by either Bandai or From Software. At the same time, it wouldn’t be a surprise if it happened to be true. We also still don’t have a release window for Elden Ring, but a safe bet would be a 2020 release. The game is already slated to appear on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Gamescom 2019 is scheduled to take place in Germany from August 20 to the 24th.
