James Wan is currently attached to produce a handful of horror projects, including the upcoming Mortal Kombat movie, The Conjuring 3 and Amazon’s I Know What You Did Last Summer TV series, but what’s next for Wan as a *director*? Before he tackles Aquaman 2, we’ve learned today, Wan will first be making a new horror movie for New Line!
Deadline reports today that the untitled horror film’s plot is currently under wraps.
Wan will co-write the screenplay with Ingrid Bisu. The film is expected to shoot in LA this coming fall, with Wan and Michael Clear producing for Atomic Monster.
The last horror film Wan directed was The Conjuring 2, released in 2016.
