In this new clip from Suspiria, opening in more theaters this coming Halloween night, Olga (Elena Fokina) breaks down during dance rehearsal and confronts her instructor, Madame Blanc (Tilda Swinton).
Meagan reviewed the film and says, “Suspiria is it’s own beast, casting a hypnotic spell that’s sure to divide audiences.”
In the remake:
“A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the troupe’s artistic director (Swinton), an ambitious young dancer (Johnson), and a grieving psychotherapist (Ebersdorf). Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up.”
The cast includes Dakota Johnson, Chloe Grace-Moretz, Tilda Swinton, Mia Goth, Sylvie Testud, Renée Soutendijk, Angela Winkler, Małgosia Bela and Lutz Ebersdorf.
Radiohead’s Thom Yorke composed the score. David Kajganich wrote the film, co-financed by Amazon Studios and K Period Media.
Suspiria dances its way into theaters on November 2.
