Ah, Skyrim. Now I know that not everyone loves Bethesda’s massive RPG, but there are those who to this day can’t get enough of it. Hence, the ability to mod the game adds almost infinite possibilities to its longevity. Plus, once in a while, you get some pretty cool and creative mods. Like the ability to ride around on Godzilla.
Back in 2015, modder gg77 created a mod which let players shapeshift into additional creatures such as werebears and werebats, but also the King of the Monsters himself. Now, gg77 is back with a new mod based on their old mod that in lieu of shapeshifting, you can now instead ride Godzilla. The Godzilla and Company mod not only lets you ride Godzilla, but also Mecha Godzilla and Rodan!
Disappointingly, however, is the fact that you can’t ride these kaiju and stomp/burn Skyrim into oblivion (that was an Elder Scrolls joke, sorry), but you can spawn an army of them if you so desire (which is kind of cool). Now the mod isn’t perfect, and there are some bugs that exist in this one, so be sure to read the mod’s description so you know what to do (and not to do).
No DLC is required for this mod. All you’ll need for the PC version of Skyrim is the Nexus Mod Manager. You can hit up one of the above links in order to get that going.
