Leaked Concept Art, Info Suggests That There Was an In-Development Sequel to ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’
Batman: Arkham Knight capped off the Arkham series in style (apart from the PC port, but that’s another story). However, according to a recent leak of information on 4chan (yes, I know) reveals that the game was due to have a sequel.
Again, take this one with that shaker of salt, especially given the source.
According to the leak, the Arkham Knight sequel was headed back to WB Montreal for development (which had previously done the divisive Arkham Origins game). As well, in the cancelled game, players would take control of Damian Wayne, who would assume the Batman mantle. It would take place in a decrepit Gotham City where Damian would ride the Batbike (similar to sections involving the Batmobile in Arkham Knight). And just like the Middle-Earth franchise, there were plans to implement a nemesis system.
Lending credence to this leak is leaked concept art, which features the likes of Two-Face, Gorilla Grodd, and a female Black Mask. The game was also going to feature an old Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson.
Concept art, reportedly from WB Games Montreal’s canceled Arkham Knight sequel starring Damian Wayne as Batman, have surfaced online. The game was going to feature the Batbike, a female version of Black Mask, old Bruce Wayne & a Nemesis System.

So far, WB Games hasn’t commented on the leak. The only news about another Batman game comes from rumours that the Montreal team is working on a game based on the Court of Owls storyline, after devteam members posted pictures on Twitter wearing shirts bearing the Court of Owls logo.
