Earlier today, John Carpenter himself confirmed my scoop that Universal Pictures and Blumhouse will be shooting the next two Halloween films back-to-back, while also announcing the films’ titles: Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends.
There was immediate speculation as to what each title means, but the ghouls at Cavity Colors had a little fun with the latter one. Below you’ll find their stunning fan art that imagines a universe in which, “underneath Michael’s super strong, highly durable exterior, there’s just a bunch of rotten old pumpkin guts intertwined with semi-human organs and blood.” I really hope they’re given the approval to sell this design on shirts and posters because I’m an immediate buyer. Take my money!
If you missed the news, the saga of Michael Myers and Laurie Strode will continue next year and the year after with Halloween Kills in October 2020 and Halloween Ends in October 2021. Halloween Kills will arrive in theaters on October 16, 2020, followed by Halloween Ends on October 15, 2021, with Jamie Lee Curtis on board to star. David Gordon Green will direct both films.
🎃 I hope when all is said and done, we find out that underneath Michael’s super strong, highly durable exterior, there’s just a bunch of rotten old pumpkin guts intertwined with semi-human organs and blood. pic.twitter.com/tMqJWrA6hA
