Well Go USA Entertainment has exclusively provided Bloody Disgusting with the official trailer for Shaman, a new possession horror movie that’s being unleashed later this summer.
Shaman is coming to Select Theaters as well as Digital on August 8, 2025.
The horror film follows a missionary (Sara Canning) as she and her husband (Daniel Gillies) seek to convert an Indigenous community in a remote Ecuadorian village.
“After a confrontation with the local shaman whose beliefs clash with her own, the missionary’s son (Jett Klyne) is seemingly possessed by an ancient spirit.
“Forced to confront her faith and a demon older than her own religion, she must make an impossible choice that could either save her son or curse their souls.”
Humberto Morales and Alejandro Fajardo also star in Shaman. The rated “R” horror movie from Well Go USA is written by Daniel Negret, directed by Antonio Negret.
Well Go presents a Night Tree production in association with Epopeya and Macumba Films.
