Psychological Horror Title ‘Baptiste’ Heads to Kickstarter This Summer [Trailer]

Firenut Games and Digital Dream’s Baptiste will be headed to Kickstarter. The teams announced that the in-development psychological horror title will be having the campaign launch later this summer, with “stunning physical editions and spine-tingling rewards” for players. Early sign-ups are now open.

“Fuelled by overwhelming early support from horror fans and gamers alike, Firenut Games is unlocking the doors to deeper development with its Kickstarter campaign,” reads the press release from Firenut. “This is your chance to summon even more dread into the game with supporters of the campaign gaining access to exclusive physical Standard and Collector’s Editions, and further rewards tailored to horror fans.”

Baptiste tells the chilling story of Sara and her son Tom, who are devastated by a family tragedy. Grief-stricken and desperate for a fresh start, Sara and Tom retreat to the isolated cliffs of Jagged Shore, where an old mansion promises a new beginning. But within its walls, time has twisted into something unnatural. Hidden in the house, they find a locked cabinet containing an eerie doll, its blackened eyes seeming to follow their every move. A warning is etched into the wood: “Never release this from its glass prison.”

In addition to being in development for PC via Steam, Baptiste will also be launching for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch 2. There’s also the demo available now on Steam.
