Death’s back and more pissed off than ever, if today’s new teaser trailer for Final Destination: Bloodlines is anything to go by.
Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein (Freaks) and written by Lori Evans Taylor (Wicked Wicked Games) and Guy Busick (Scream), the sixth entry into the Final Destination series, and the first in 14 years, hits theaters and IMAX on May 16 via Warner Bros.
Starring Teo Briones (Chucky), Brec Bassinger (Stargirl), Kaitlyn Santa Juana (The Friendship Game), Richard Harmon (Grave Encounters 2), Anna Lore, Owen Patrick Joyner, Max Lloyd-Jones (The Book Of Boba Fett), Rya Kihlstedt (Obi Wan Kenobi), and Tinpo Lee (The Manor), Bloodlines follows:
Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.
The late, great Tony Todd is also expected to be seen for the final time in his role as the mysterious William Bludworth.
Today’s first teaser makes good on the insane deaths we’ve come to expect from the Final Destination series, and frankly we’re kind of shocked it took this long for a tattoo parlor-set freakout to happen. But happen it has, and if this scene is indicative of the rest of the film, Bloodlines ain’t holding back.
