‘Death Cycle’ – A Motorcycle Riding Maniac Stalks Prey in Exclusive Images from Giallo-Inspired Slasher
One of 2020’s goriest horror films was director Gabriel Carrer‘s For the Sake of Vicious. Now, the filmmaker is back with another gory effort, this time with the giallo-inspired slasher Death Cycle, and we’ve got exclusive images introducing the film’s maniac and his carnage.
The upcoming horror film is described as “a mix of classic giallo themes with the modern slasher genre.”
In Death Cycle, “After the death of her sister, a woman is visited by a man looking to solve a series of murders by a motorcycle-riding maniac. As their shared fear escalates, the killer’s rampage continues in the city, leaving them both questioning who the real monster is.”
While the fresh batch of images below don’t give away much, they do give us a good glimpse at the motorcycle riding maniac and enough viscera splattered across pavement to indicate an ultra-violent slasher ahead.
Matthew Ninaber (Psycho Goreman), Kristen Kaster (Death Valley), Sasha Ormond (A Knights War), Justin Bott (Hyperborean), James Fler (For the Sake of Vicious), and Wes Hill star in the giallo-inspired slasher. The giallo/slasher will also feature music from Bonnie Trash, the dark, post-punk project by twin sisters Emmalia and Sarafina.
Death Cycle was written by Dave McLeod and produced by Latefox, Chronovisor Images & High Rise Studios.
The film has completed post-production and is gearing up for its 2025 festival run and release. Stay tuned for details.
