Arena Shooter ‘Gravelord’ Launches Into Early Access on January 22 [Trailer]

Developer Troglobytes Games and publisher Digital Vortex Entertainment have released a new trailer for their upcoming Lovecraftian base-building survival action game RailGods of Hysterra. Showcasing its titular celestial locomotive, the new trailer delves into the challenges of surviving a post-apocalyptic Lovecraftian horror, where players must keep their RailGod fueled by hunting, trapping, and sacrificing monsters summoned by the Great Old Ones to power their journey through the Wastelands of Hysterra.

Coming to Early Access on PC via Steam and the PlayStation 5 later this year, RailGods of Hysterra sees players enter a ruined world of ghoulish horrors wrought by the Great Old Ones. As a Dreamer, awoken from the Dreamlands and inseparably bound to your RailGod (a roaming fortress composed of steel and flesh forged through arcane and obscure rituals), you must survive in a reality twisted by madness. Shuttle between the last outposts while exploring the landscapes haunted by sinister cultists and nightmarish creatures inspired by Lovecraft’s narrative universe.

Players must scavenge the land for materials to build additional carts for their RailGod, including workstations, storage, and cells for captured foes. Craft new gear and powerful weapons to help enhance character attributes to take on roaming ghoulish abominations. Eradicate those enemies to grow stronger by levelling up and earning GodKeeper abilities.

You won’t have to go it alone, either. Up to four friends via online co-op can join to help you conquer the cruel and unforgiving hellscapes.
