Is This The SCARIEST Haunted House in Indiana?

There is an area of acreage in Indianapolis that is close to town – and scary to think something so treacherous could be so near to normal people.

We are talking about Hanna Haunted Acres, a gigantic haunted attraction on the south side of Indy. This event is so fun, in part because there is so much to do at one event. Also, Hanna made it into Scary Overload’s Top 13 Haunts in the U.S. list this year, so you know it’s awesome!

The evening starts with a ride on Indy’s original haunted hayride. This is a horror-lovers take on your traditional fall hayride…family fun for the family that likes to “scare together.” The hayride runs for a long mile, and is full of fire, explosions, dark woods and nightmares. There are 5 more haunted attractions at Hanna Haunted Acres, and you can tour all of them plus the hayride with one general admission ticket. Bitten is a haunted house, claimed to once be the illustrious manor of Count Zamale, which has now become a wretched hive infested by a coven of vampires. Hanna is featuring a brand-new attraction this year – Stalker Farms. This is the homestead of Ma and Pa Stalker and their menagerie of children. But mind yourself. If you get lost in their fields, you may become the harvest.

On your trip to Hanna you’ll also meet Munch and Rowdy, 2 entrepreneurial brothers that have set up a very disturbing operation in their splintery barn harvesting organs and meat processing on the scene of Cannibal Chaos. You can also tour the ancient catacombs of Dark Echoes, where you might meet Pitch,
who was unfortunately unleashed by some occult-obsessed archeologists. It is said if you enter, you’ll never see the light again.

Finally, enjoy big-top fun at Freakshow, the final attraction at Hanna. Experience the games, freaks and thrills lead by the Ringmaster in this tented lot of horror. When you visit Hanna Haunted Acres, you can also spend some time having fun with your friends in The Boneyard Midway. There is food, bars, and games where you can spend some extra free time. Did we mention there is plenty of free parking? That seems to be a luxury these days when it comes to haunted houses.

If you dare, we highly recommend a visit to Hanna Haunted Acres. Their address is
7323 E Hanna Ave in Indianapolis, 46239. That’s on the southeast side of town, and is
very easy to get to. As mentioned, there is free parking plus rideshare access.
