Strange Scaffold Announces Dark Incremental Horror Game ‘Clickolding’ for July 16 [Trailer]
Four weeks after releasing their escape room horror title Scholar’s Mate to Steam, JanduSoft has revealed that “good news” for console players is a July 4 release of the game to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series. “Bringing Scholar’s Mate to consoles has not been an easy task, but we have achieved ports that truly immerse the player in the gloomy atmosphere we have created,” says JanduSoft in the press release.
Described as “an immersive first-person horror experience”, Scholar’s Mate puts you in the shoes of Judith, a young woman who wakes up in a seemingly deserted psychiatric hospital. Of course, that soon changes, as Judith soon finds herself pursued by a man named Eddie, who had kidnapped Judith and has locked her in the hospital. As a result, Judith must not only find her way out, but also avoid a horrible fate at the hands of Eddie.
In order to escape, Judith will need to explore and solve the hidden secrets of the hospital. And this would be simple if Eddie wasn’t constantly stalking Judith around every corner and corridor of the hospital. As one might expect from a good antagonist in this type of game, Eddie can hear you as well as see you. As a result, you’ll need to exercise caution when moving around, as he can hear you if you run, and using your flashlight is a giveaway.
