As we gear up for big summer horror movie releases, you can catch some new horror movies you may have missed from the comfort of your own couch. The First Omen flew wildly under the radar, but has since found a growing fanbase now that it’s streaming on Hulu. Do you count yourself amongst the recently converted? It’s hard to believe The First Omen is Arkasha Stevenson’s feature directorial debut. After battling against an NC-17 rating, Stevenson managed to birth a horrifying tale that goes heavy on the body horror, throwing audiences into a beautiful nightmare.

When a young American woman is sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the church, she encounters a darkness that causes her to question her own faith and uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that hopes to bring about the birth of evil incarnate.

The Last Drive-In season 6 is in full swing and going strong. The new bi-weekly, single movie format has not deterred the Twitter party, and we get a new episode tonight. The Last Drive-In will be streaming live on Shudder at 6 pm PT and available on both Shudder and AMC+ on Sunday.
