Heads up, Tim Burton fans because it’s showtime. The folks at Loungefly have announced a new collection in collaboration with Warner Bros. inspired by Beetlejuice. The new collection drops in June and will be available on Loungefly’s website and select retailers. Protect those wallets, because it’s a robust collection that includes backpacks, hoodies, pins and everything in between.
Perhaps not coincidentally, the new collection is dropping just a few months before Tim Burton’s much-anticipated sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice hits theaters in September. But this collection covers not just the movie, but the animated series as well, with a lunchbox journal showcasing characters from the fondly-remembered show. There’s also going to be a special web-exclusive Beetlejuice Western Cosplay Mini Backpack available for purchase exclusively at Loungefly.com. The full list of what the collection consists of is as follows:
- Carousel Hat Sliding 3″ Collector Box Pin ($20.00)
- Carousel Light Up Cosplay Mini Backpack ($80.00)

So yeah, needless to say a hardcore fan could drop a pretty pen loading up on merch here. We’ve included a more thorough gallery of images highlighting the collecting for you to check out below. For my money, Cartoon Lunchbox Journal and the pins are where it’s at. But to each their own.
As for the forthcoming sequel, Burton and Michael Keaton have been looking to crack this nut for a long, long time, dating back to the infamous Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian pitch that never got made in the ‘90s. Now, with a stellar cast that includes the likes of Jenna Ortega and Willem Dafoe alongside some familiar faces, it’s finally happening. And fear not, Burton isn’t relying on CGI too heavily. Practical effects, baby! In the sequel…
“Beetlejuice is back! After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.”
The new Loungefly Beetlejuice collection launches in June. You can catch Beetlejuice Beetlejuice in theaters on September 6, 2024. For more, be sure to read up on Tim Burton’s upcoming remake of Attack of the 50 Foot Woman.
