After enjoying an initial exclusive launch on the Epic Games Store last year, developers Santa Ragione have announced that Saturnalia is now available on Steam. In addition, the game is currently enjoying a 25% discount during its launch week, as well as a new accolades trailer.

If that’s not enough, Santa Ragione has teamed up with Limited Run Games to publish physical editions of Saturnalia for PlayStation 4 & 5, and the Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders for this physical edition will kick off on December 22nd, with details regarding this edition coming soon.

The Steam version of Saturnalia includes a new first-person camera mode, with an option to automatically switch to first person when inside buildings. As well, the game has a new film noir palette reminiscent of black and white noir movie cinematography, and a new photo mode. These and other new features will arrive on the Epic Games Store version as a later date.

Saturnalia is set in the Italian region of Sardinia in the year 1989. Described as a fever dream inspired in equal parts by authentic Sardinian culture and classic Italian giallo horror films, Saturnalia tells the story of a mysterious, centuries-old ritual that occurs on the night of the winter solstice. Players will take control of four distinct co-protagonists and utilize their unique abilities in order to avoid a terrible creature, expose the secrets haunting the town, and ultimately escape the village of Gravoi.
