‘Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed: Single Player Edition’ Now Available for PS4, Xbox One [Trailer]
Mundfish’s weird dystopian shooter Atomic Heart will be having its first DLC content arrive later this summer. The developer announced that the “Annihilation Instinct” DLC will arrive for PC and consoles on August 2. And as before with all things Atomic Heart, we get another bizarre trailer featuring plenty of strangeness, including an appearance by Nora, the game’s infamous fridge.
Taking place after the events of Atomic Heart, the “Annihilation Instinct” DLC has you trudging through the Mendeleev complex and the surrounding swamps. And speaking of Nora, you’ll also discover the truth about “her” as Major P-3 is pulled back into Facility 3826. You’ll also be facing new foes in the form of shape-shifting enemies, weird dolls and more.
Luckily for you, you’ll have some extra firepower to combat these new enemies in the Secateur (a new ranged weapon) and the Klusha (a new melee weapon). You’ve also got a new ability for your Polymer Glove in Techno-Stasis that allows you to manipulate time itself.
In addition to the “Annihilation Instinct” DLC announcement, Mundfish has also added a free New Game+ mode to Atomic Heart that also cranks up the difficulty. You’ll need to use all of your previously unlocked skills and your entire arsenal to battle your foes, which have been given new resistances and attack effects.
Atomic Heart is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC via Steam. Check out Reyna’s take on the shooter, while Neil and Jay had their own thoughts on the game on the Safe Room Podcast.
