Mary Elizabeth Winstead Has 24 Hours to Kill ’em All in Netflix’s Action-Thriller ‘Kate’ [Teaser]
Mary Elizabeth Winstead is the title character in Netflix‘s upcoming action-thriller Kate, a female assassin who has just 24 hours to get vengeance on her murderer before she dies.
Wait. Her murderer…? Yup. She’s not dead yet, but she’s been poisoned and soon will be.
Entertainment Weekly recently previewed Kate with three images, showcasing the 10 Cloverfield Lane and Birds of Prey star as the bloody, battered and badass title character.
Today during “Geeked Week,” Netflix revealed a first-look teaser video for the film, while also announcing a September 10 premiere date. While you wait, find the teaser below!
Woody Harrelson, Miku Martineau, Tadanobu Asano, Michiel Huisman, and Jun Kunimura also star in Kate, directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan (The Huntsman: Winter’s War).
“Kate follows a ruthless criminal operative — who has been irreversibly poisoned — that has less than 24 hours to exact revenge on her enemies and in the process forms an unexpected bond with the daughter of one of her past victims.”
Umair Aleem wrote the script.
