While theaters battle to survive the ongoing pandemic, Universal Pictures is shifting its latest Jurassic Park/World franchise sequel an entire year.
Originally set to hit theaters next June, Jurassic World: Dominion will now stomp into theaters on June 10, 2022.
The title is presumably a reference to the fact that the dinosaurs now have dominion over the world, free from the island and unleashed into the population at the end of Fallen Kingdom.
Guess who’s fallen to the bottom of the food chain…
Directed this time by Colin Trevorrow, Jurassic World: Dominion sounds like the title to a horror movie, and indeed the film’s general premise would seem to suggest that Hell is about to be unleashed upon Earth!
The cast includes familiar and new faces such as Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Dichen Lachman, Mamoudou Athie, DeWanda Wise and Scott Haze.
