David Lynch-Inspired Shooter ‘Industria’ Announced for PC; Releasing in 2021 [Trailer]
We could always use more David Lynch in video games, right? Headup Games and developer Bleakmill think so, as they’ve announced Industria, an “atmospheric” first-person shooter coming to PC via Steam in Q1 2021. Along with the announcement is a trailer for the game, which takes inspiration from shooters like Half-Life 2 and Portal 2.
Touching on “profound subjects concerning our past as well as our future,” Industria tells the tale of the evening of the fall of the Berlin wall. While searching for her missing work colleague, a woman named Nora plunges headlong into a parallel dimension. While the checkpoints in East Berlin are still being overrun by crowds of people, Nora escapes from this world, into unknown layers of time and into an unknown fate.
