“Well crafted top to bottom. Creepy, effective, and beautiful.” – Rian Johnson

Written by Eric Vespe and Aaron Morgan and directed by Aaron Morgan, the short horror film Seek is set to world premiere at SXSW on March 14, and we’ve got a teaser today.

In Seek, “Estranged sisters Heidi and Jordan have been driving all night when they come across a dilapidated roadside park and bathroom. Horrific events follow when a mischievous resident inhabiting the bathroom demands to play a sinister game.”

Check out the teaser trailer below, featuring rave reviews from some pretty big names.

The short features practical effects by two-time Academy Award Nominee Arjen Tuiten (Maleficent, Wonder, Pan’s Labyrinth, Ghostbusters: Afterlife) based on concept designs by WETA Workshop. It also features VFX by Rogelio Salinas and Todd Perry (Black Panther, Avengers, Doctor Strange).

Allisyn Snyder, Clare Grant, Steve Agee, and Sarah Anne Williams star.

Seek was produced by Paul Gandersman, Peter Hall and Eric Vespe, and executive produced by Michaela Morgan.

The premiere will take place at Alamo Lamar D on Saturday, March 14 at 9:00PM.
