New Dario Argento Giallo Film ‘Black Glasses’ Will Film This Year; Asia Argento Set to Star
We’ve been hearing rumblings about a new Dario Argento film for the past year or so – it’d be his first since 2012’s Dracula 3D – with an interview out of FrightFest back in August of last year indicating that Argento’s next will be another Giallo film, titled Occhiali Neri (aka Black Glasses). This is a film, we gather, that Argento has been trying to make for many years.
What’s the latest on that? Well, a new interview with Spettacolo reveals that Black Glasses is indeed being made this year, and it’ll reunite Dario with his daughter Asia Argento.
Asia has appeared in Dario’s films Trauma, The Stendhal Syndrome, The Phantom of the Opera and Mother of Tears, and she also starred in George Romero’s Land of the Dead.
The actress just shared news of Black Glasses over on Instagram today, 100% confirming the various reports we’ve recently heard. Black Glasses is set to film here in 2020.
More as we learn it.
