In a surprise move, Bethesda have not only updated both DOOM and DOOM II, but have thrown in a special treat in the form of John Romero’s SIGIL!
The classic shooters, which were released in July of last year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch, have been updated with new features, including the ability to play WAD files, 60 frames per second support, quick saving/loading, aspect ratio changing, brightness changes and more!
On top of that, two of the original add-ons in “TNT: Evilution” and “The Plutonia Experiment” have been added to both games, while DOOM II gets SIGIL and “No Rest for the Living,” a map pack created by Nerve Software for the original Xbox Live Arcade release.
You can also find both games on PC via the Bethesda.net Launcher. The latest entry in the franchise, DOOM Eternal, is due out March 20, 2020.
