As was the case with the Resident Evil 2 remake, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Other Ocean have re-released the demo for their remake of MediEvil (which we reviewed here). The demo, which was only available for the beginning of October this past year, allowed players to play through the first area of the game, and upon completing it, granted players Sir Dan’s Helmet as a cosmetic for the full game.
And much like the revised RE2 demo (titled the R.P.D. demo), there are a few new additions to the MediEvil demo. Specifically, the demo has been expanded, and now lasts all the way through the Graveyard and Hilltop Mausoleum areas until the fight with the stained glass demon. The re-release of the demo also means that Sir Dan’s Helmet can be obtained once more by those who missed playing the demo the first time. Unless you still have that demo installed on your PS4.
Elsewhere in the PlayStation Blog update, the post talks about how the team at Other Ocean recreated Dan’s model for the remake, which is worth a peek if you’re into looking at the behind-the-scenes development of things.
MediEvil is currently out now on PlayStation 4.
