Halloween may be over, but Disney has brought us a pretty awesome treat today.
Earlier this morning we presented a list of the spookiest content you can find on Disney+, and of course, 1993’s family-friendly Halloween classic Hocus Pocus was on the list. But what we didn’t quite realize at the time is that Hocus Pocus is being presented in 4K Ultra HD on the brand new streaming service, the first time it has *ever* been released in the 4K format!
Hocus Pocus joins the first seven Star Wars movies, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Toy Story 1-3 on the list of films that are available for the first time in 4K UHD through Disney+.
On a related note, Disney+ is also developing a sequel to Hocus Pocus, and there’s a good chance Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy will all be back.
The best way to show Disney that you’re hungry for the return of the Sanderson sisters? Well, streaming Hocus Pocus through Disney+ is a pretty good place to start!
