In the mood for some sci-fi gory action in your video game? Publisher Focus Home Interactive and developer Deck13 have released a new trailer for their upcoming action-RPG The Surge 2 that does exactly that. Dubbed “Symphony of Violence”, the new trailer highlights just how violent, slowing the action down to really let you enjoy the flying limbs and spurts of blood.
Want to kick a guy’s head clean off his shoulders? Lop off limbs with reckless abandon? You definitely can.
The story for the game has you on the way to Jericho City. Your plane is shot down by a mysterious storm and crash-lands in the outskirts. You wake up weeks later in a derelict detention facility inside the city. Armor-clad soldiers enforce Martial Law, robots are on a rampage, and a dark, expanding nanostorm looms over the cityscape. In a bid to survive, you must explore the sprawling, devastated city of Jericho to find out just what happened.
The Surge 2 is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 24.
