Below the streets of London, Derry’s iconic carny has set up a one-stop shock shop.

Proceeding the release of  IT: Chapter Two this Friday, New Line Cinema has created a greywater-soaked experience.  Free tickets sold out in record time, but it’s strongly likely that those who missed out can get in via the stand-by line. You have until Wednesday 4th September 9:30PM to try your luck.

Located next to Waterloo train station the fairground entrance awaits.  Warning of the curfew participants sign a waiver before entering the gaping clown mouth seen inhaling a frantic James McAvoy from the trailer.   After navigating the pendulous clowns like demented tonsils visitors are met with the dilapidated Neibolt street house with a set of abandoned Loser Club wheels.   After an invite to cross the threshold the scare rated doors await for different paths through the installation. From here a seat at The Jade of the Orient calms nerves before moving on to a tour of the sewers.

Take a look below at some of our photos from the interactive performance setting.

“This August, thrill-seekers are invited to the ultimate immersive experience, based on the highly anticipated film IT CHAPTER TWO, directed by Andy Muschietti and featuring an ensemble cast led by James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain and Bill Hader.

Taking over the expansive and atmospheric Vaults in London Waterloo, IT CHAPTER TWO: THE VAULTS EXPERIENCE will bring to life breathtaking sets and terrifying scenes from the film in an epic and highly interactive adventure for movie lovers.

Spanning over 11,000 square feet of bespoke sets built into the vast underground maze of disused railway tunnels, the experience will let ticketholders follow in the daring footsteps of The Losers Club.

Open to the public from August 31, ahead of IT CHAPTER TWO’s release in UK cinemas on September 6, the experience will combine nine themed areas where visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the chilling world of Pennywise the clown, and the dark underbelly of Derry.”
