Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky is finally starting to become the game that the devs had promised us back in 2016. The latest update launching on August 14 (entitled No Man’s Sky: Beyond) will try to get closer to that promise with three major updates rolled into one.
According to the devs, the upcoming changes are “a mix of features we’ve been dreaming of for a while, and a reaction to how we have seen folks playing since the release of NEXT.” For starters, the update includes an expanded online experience that aims to “bring a radical new social and multiplayer experience which empowers players everywhere in the universe to meet and play together.”
The update will also include VR support for those finally looking to take the immersion of flying your ship to the next level, as well as enhanced multiplayer interaction.
No Man’s Sky is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
