John Wick in Fortnite? Whatever. John Wick in a throwback NES-style sidescrolling shooter? I’m listening.
Yes, to cater to those 80s kids who grew up smashing their controllers over Contra‘s difficulty, developer MuriloDev is creating a game based on a fake NES tribute video that’s apparently hard as hell. The assets for the video were available as freeware, so the devs decided to put them to good use.
As you can see from the video below, the game is a little more over-the-top than the film series, but hey, it’s an NES tribute. Arnold fought midgets in back alleys on Mars in the NES game based on Total Recall, so why can’t John Wick take down a helicopter with a handgun?
