Last year, Panstasz revealed to fans of Junji Ito their old-school throwback in World of Horror (check out our interview with the devs).
Well, the devs have finally unleashed the demo for PAX/Tokyo Game Show/BitSummit, which you can snag for absolutely nothing! Or, if you like the way development is going, feel free to chip in a few bucks. Just head on over to Panstasz’s itch.io page to grab it.
Described as “a love letter to the cosmic horror work of Junji Ito (伊藤 潤二) and the 1-bit aesthetics of early Macintosh computers”, World of Horror has you investigating mysteries all over a sleepy seaside Japanese town in the year “198X”. The Old Gods have reawakened to sate their primal hunger, and in doing so, the fabric of our reality has started to crumble, causing otherworldly horrors to appear.
World of Horror is still expected to hit Steam, PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch in the near future.
