What do you get when you mix DOOM and a roguelike? We’re about to find out with
ChaosForge’s Jupiter Hell, which hits Steam Early Access this June.
A spiritual successor to Doom, the Roguelike, Jupiter Hell is a top-down shooter that combines “a classic, turn-based roguelike” with “a 90’s flavored sci-fi universe.” This includes a metal soundtrack, a glorious-looking throwback UI that looks like an Apple II monitor.
“Set on the moons of Jupiter, the game pits a lone space marine against overwhelming demonic forces. Rip and tear zombies, demons and unmentionable monstrosities, using classic weaponry such as shotguns, chainguns, railguns and the trusty chainsaw.”
If you’re keen on checking out an alpha version of the game, you can up its itch.io page and try it out. Jupiter Hell comes out June 30th.
